Courthouse evacuated, bomb scare was likely hoax

A Sheriff’s Office spokesman contacted the local St. Johns County news desk to report that the entire County Courthouse was evacuated this afternoon following a bomb threat received by the switchboard at about 12:30 p.m.

Saturday night home invasion on Palmer Street

The local St. Augustine news desk has learned that Saturday night, Police Officer Brittany Garmon responded to a residence on Palmer Street to investigate a home invasion robbery.

George, Victor and Nick Hadjis announced to Historic City News that Sea Fair Restaurant has completed its remodeling project and is re-opening today — just in time for St. Patricks Day and the re-opening of the Bridge of Lions.

Staples robbery suspects arrested

St. Johns County local news reporters learned that two St. Augustine men were arrested on robbery charges and booked into the County Detention Facility at 1:14 this morning.

Flagler County child porno suspect arrested in Vegas

Public Information Officer Debra Johnson reported to Historic City News that on Saturday, U.S. Marshalls arrested 33 year-old Michael Lagrande, in Las Vegas, Nevada, on a Flagler County warrant charging him with 21 counts of child pornography.
