Kyle Rouse reported to Historic City News that the American Red Cross is sponsoring a Heroes Celebration Luncheon featuring Jeff Kottkamp, Lt. Governor of Florida.

Always a friend to Historic City News, we wanted to recognize Flagler College Media Specialist Elizabeth Allison Daube who is leaving Flagler College to attend Boston University’s School of Social Work.

Flagler College’s Writers-in-Residence program will present author Frank X. Gaspar on Oct. 6th at 5:00 p.m. in the Gamache-Koger Theater according to an announcement received by Historic City News today.

Priscilla Proctor, Coordinator of Public and College Relations, reported to Historic City News that filmmaker Helen Whitney will show her documentary, “Richard Avedon: Darkness and Light,” and host a discussion at Flagler College.
Penny Halyburton, St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections, announced to Historic City News that there will be several polling place changes.
The Supervisor of Elections Office reported to Historic City News that the Special Republican Primary Election for Senate District 8 will be held September 15th.
