Capitol rotunda unveils nativity scene
Historic City News learned from local Associated Press reports that a group of Christians celebrated the placement of a Nativity scene in Florida’s state capitol rotunda yesterday as a means of combating what they called persistent efforts to drive religion from public life.

Avoid Avenida Menendez – avoid delays next week
St Augustine Streets and Grounds Manager, Charlene Putz, reported to Historic City News that beginning Monday, December 9th, and continuing through Friday, December 13th, the city will be resurfacing Avenida Menendez, from King Street south to St Francis Street.

Elections officials question absentee ballot directive
