Library activities: Ponte Vedra Beach Library
Each month, Administrative Assistant Angelina Gervasi reports to Historic City News the upcoming activities at the branch locations of the St Johns County Public Library System; one of the shining stars that complements our public education system, and enhances the quality of life for all our residents.

Many Historic City News readers are familiar with the address notifications we publish when registered sexual predators move to, or change their residence address in, St Johns County; what you may not know is that another Florida law also requires a select group of convicted felons to register their residences with law enforcement and a state registry.
About 3 years ago, St Augustine residents Connie May Fowler and her husband Bill Hinson, opened White Peony; a boutique clothing shop focused on American artisan and global fair trade goods. Nearly all of the clothes were American made and those that were not were made by fair trade artisans, local designers, and artists.
Every year, Historic City News reader Jennifer White, and her family, host a free Thanksgiving Dinner at their restaurant, O.C. White’s Seafood & Spirits; to show their thanks for everything the seniors and staff at the Council on Aging do for the St Augustine community.
We are giving our new classified advertising section a workout; and, the good news is that for a limited time our readers can post a classified ad absolutely free.
