Camera Club holds annual photography show
Kay Wells asks Historic City News readers to attend the Third Annual Juried Member Photography Show presented by Saint Augustine Camera Club; opening Friday, April 4, at the Art Institute, located adjacent to the St Johns County Pier in St Augustine Beach.

This Saturday, March 29th and Sunday March 30th, will be days for “entertainment that educates” when the Garrison Grand Muster is held in the St Augustine Historic District and Fort Mose holds its Living History Days, according to announcements received this week from the Historic Florida Militia and Fort Mose Historic State Park, where activities begin at noon each day.
The St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park informed Historic City News today that Canaan Kimball, a student attending PVPV Rawlings Elementary School, is the winner in the 6th Annual Edu-Gator Contest.



Historic City News congratulates twenty St Johns County students from nine participating schools that were selected from a recent local competition to travel and compete in the Florida State History Fair, scheduled for May 4-6.
After a two and a half year battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease, Historic City News was informed that 58-year-old Laurie Bennett Ellis of St. Augustine died Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the Haven Hospice Care Center in Orange Park.
