Historic City News broadcast news partner, Newstalk 102.3 FM WFOY, will be live on the air from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., tomorrow, Thursday October 17; broadcasting from the Ponce de Leon Mall during the 17th Annual Retirement Expo, sponsored in part by the Law Office of John Galletta.

Historic City News reporters learned that during last month’s Florida Main Street Annual Conference, held on Vilano Beach in St Augustine, the Bureau of Historic Preservation gave prominent recognition to the Vilano Beach Main Street Program and the people who are making it a success.

Executive director, Kevin Doyle, announced to Historic City News in St Augustine that Consumer Energy Alliance-Florida, a source of sound and unbiased information on US and global energy issues for consumers, will be a sponsor of the Florida Energy Summit that began today in Orlando.

The Friends of the Guana-Tolomato-Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve are hosting their fourth annual fund-raiser to support the mission of protecting and preserving our ocean and estuary resources and Historic City News readers are encouraged to participate.
