As if defying gravity, “Capra Ibex” a bronze sculpture of a wild goat perched on a mountaintop, fetched the top prize in the 9th Annual Nature and Wildlife Art Exhibition, on display at the St. Augustine Art Association through August 26th.

Respected and accomplished local educators have endorsed Kelly Barrera’s bid for re-election as the District 4 representative on the St. Johns County School Board in an announcement received by Historic City News this morning.

Historic City News was notified by Florida Department of Transportation Public Information Officer, Monica R. Reifeiss, that traffic will be impacted at the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations where roadwork is being conducted.

Be alert to lane closures and temporary detours, as well as increased congestion in these areas.  FDOT employees and contractors will be working on the roadways and need your full attention.
