When Historic City News covered removal of the first bricks; making way for a new streetscape on the nation’s oldest, documented street, it was hard to imagine exactly how much of an improvement was in store.
Castillo de San Marcos Superintendent Gordie Wilson told Historic City News reporters and commissioners at their meeting this week, that, as early as this month, the City of St. Augustine could be selling tickets for admission to the fort.
Flagler College informed Historic City News that Dr. Timothy Johnson, professor of religion and chair of Liberal Studies, has been invited to present a paper at the Universidad Nacional de San Martín in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Triple Crown Sports
First Four Weekends in October
St. Johns County and Triple Crown Sports of Fort Collins, Colorado, will host youth fast pitch softball and baseball tournaments the first four weekends of October. Oct. 2nd & 3rd will be the girls Beach Fall Classic Tournament with the 3 remaining weekends the boys St. Augustine Fall Nationals baseball tournaments held at various sites throughout the county.
