Former St Augustine Mayor George Gardner has been following the progress of Flagler College in their efforts to demolish an existing building located at the intersection of Cordova and Cuna Streets; making way for a five building communications facility.
Arguing that the declining quality of the St Augustine Record was the direct result of Morris family mismanagement, Judith Seraphin and Ed Slavin tried repeatedly to intervene in the confirmation of bankruptcy proceedings of Morris Publishing Group, LLC in federal court.
Romanza president Albert Syeles reported to Historic City News that Tuesday evening, June 12, would be the last Gathering of the local art and cultural event organization until September, “while we take a summer hiatus”.
