Local fireworks rules prohibit many homemade displays

St. Johns County Fire Rescue officials encourage all Historic City News readers to use extreme caution when discharging fireworks of any kind during the July 4th celebrations.  In the State of Florida as well as in St. Johns County, it is illegal to use any firework that either goes boom, or leaves the ground.
