Neighbors will protest San Marco 7-Eleven
Historic City News was informed by event organizers that tomorrow, Saturday September 5, 2014, a group of citizens will protest the approval of a building permit to 7-Eleven that allows the construction of a convenience store with 12 gas pumps.


Florida Department of Transportation alerted local Historic City News reporters that a section of bike trail along SR-207, from Moccasin Branch to CR-305 in St. Johns County, will close starting Monday for repairs.
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

The “Yield to Life” safety campaign, co-sponsored by the City of St Augustine and the North Florida Transportation Planning Organization, will hold a news conference to announce the official launch of the program, a collaborative effort aimed at increasing awareness and reducing bicycle and pedestrian-related crashes in St. Augustine, according to Jeff Sheffield, North Florida TPO Executive Director.
