Road repairs and maintenance planned
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through September 30th.


According to an announcement received by Historic City News today, St. Johns County Sheriff David Shoar, along with Sergeant Ron Faircloth, presented a plaque to Brian Wilson recognizing the Jack Wilson dealership for their contribution to the Police Unity Tour.
The City of St. Augustine reported to Historic City News that Lincolnville’s Galimore Center might remain open after county support ends next; providing a short-term plan is approved by the City Commission on Monday.
2d Lt. Dennis Maloney reported to Historic City News that St. Augustine Composite Squadron Cadet Technical Sergeant Marc Sala welcomed U. S. Army Chaplain, Kevin Church, to a recent Civil Air Patrol squadron meeting.
The Flagler College Forum on Government and Public Policy announced to Historic City News that, on October 6th, they will host a presentation by former Scripps Howard News Service editor and writer Dan K. Thomasson.

Assistant public defender Ray Warren of Volusia County reported to Historic City News that a memorial service for his father, Dan R. Warren, would be held tomorrow, Friday September 23, at the historic Volusia County Courthouse in Deland at 3:00 p.m.
