Time to apply for local State of the Arts grants
The St Johns Cultural Council has announced to the local news desk at Historic City News that applications are now available to non-profit organizations, individual artists and teachers in St. Johns County for “State of the Arts” grants.

Renee Chiaverini reported to the local St. Augustine news desk that the Flagler College Students in Free Enterprise team will be participating in and hosting a “Let’s Can Hunger Challenge” on Friday, March 5th.
St. Augustine Garrison President Mark Schmitt told St. Johns County local news reporters that the annual La Guardia de Noche (Spanish Night Watch) historical re-enactment will be held this month on March 12th and 13th.
Flagler College Magazine editor and Public Information Director Brian Thompson reported to Historic City News that they have won a CASE Special Merit award from in the competition’s magazine category.
