Florida is considering a “Citizen Archaeology Permit” program that would extensively impact archaeology sites on state lands.

I am mentioned in a March 5th posting on the Saint Augustine Tea Party website regarding a recent “Awake the State” demonstration in support of expanded early voting hours.
Every St Augustine city commission meeting begins with the mayor, commissioners, staff, and members of the audience affirming an oath — their pledge of loyalty to the flag of the republic of the United States of America.

I am a fine art photographer and have been shooting images of the fiscally-challenged local shrimping community for the last 4 years; while doing so, I have noticed that the beautiful handmade wooden shrimping trawlers, which were such a big part of our history, have been disappearing at an alarming rate.
