Sale of Health Services building to Lowes not a “done deal”

I have received a number of calls and e-mail from residents concerned about comments brought before the St Johns County Commission during our regular meeting Tuesday; relative to the sale of the Health and Human Services building to Lowes and construction of a new clinic and offices by the County Administration Building.

An important gathering in Jacksonville last month underscored how urgent it is for Florida and the nation to insist that our leaders formulate a coherent, comprehensive policy for America’s energy future.

Over the past 50 years that I recall in St Augustine, I can’t remember a time when there have been so many businesses close — many have been in business for years, some for decades, and even some that have been owned by the same family for generations.
