In a recent article that appeared on the Florida Times-Union website, “Freedomworks” was called a “Key Tea Party Group”.
As you know, our City Commissioners have co-opted the Charleston Code that regulates the carriage businesses up there, and are determined, despite growing opposition, to force it on the carriage trade here.
Unprecedented government spending and debt, higher taxes and poorly-designed bureaucratic red tape are undermining our economic progress.
November is National Adoption Month and, for me, the 3rd annual Adoption Day Celebration being presented by the St. Johns County Family Integrity Program has special meaning.

In an interview this afternoon, County Judge Patti A. Christensen told Historic City News editor Michael Gold that she expects it will be “a hard transition” for her; leaving friends and co-workers in St. Augustine who she’s known as a judge for the past ten years.
