I was the manager on duty at the Historic Ponce Hotel when Rachel Ashley Bilka was asked to leave. Her complaint has created a fire storm on social media, so I would like to offer your readers some facts to consider before they draw the wrong conclusion about the situation.

Letter: Creating Art is Not a Crime

Tonight, Saint Augustine’s City Commissioners will vote to change the boundaries within the City where artists were once prohibited from Creating Art in public, under threat of arrest, and 60 days in jail.

I have the perfect solution to NFL football players having the freedom to express their views that allows the NFL owners to be able to recoup the percentage of their fan base, and revenue, that these football players desiring to politicize a sporting event have cost.
Offices for the City of St. Augustine lost the ability to send e-mail last Sunday night at the height of Hurricane Irma, according to a report received by Historic City News from Public Affairs Director Paul Williamson.
