Letter: DuPont shows his incompetence in judicial forum Dan Armstrong Ponte Vedra Beach, FL Dear Editor: I recently watched the July 26th judicial forum put on by the St Johns County Bar and League of Woman Voters to lean about the judges running for office.

Malcolm Anthony, Ponte Vedra attorney and candidate for Circuit Judge, Seventh Judicial Circuit announced to Historic City News that he will be filing a formal complaint with the Judicial Qualifications Commission (JQC) regarding misconduct by his opponent in the judicial race, Judge Scott R. DuPont.

As the editor of Historic City News, I think this race should be all about Sheamus John McNeeley. He is the candidate who nobody knows, he does not speak at forums, his campaign has raised no money, his name appears on no campaign signs, and his name will appear on no Primary or General Election…

Three seats are up for election every two years on the St Augustine City Commission. In presidential election years, like this, it is Seats 1, 2, and 3 (the mayor). In the mid-term years, it is Seats 3 (the mayor), 4, and 5. Commissioners serve four-year terms and the mayor serves a two-year term.
