I am contacting you because the media has been covering the JSO handling of the Amber Alert for Cherish Periwinkle and the Amber Alert for Reid Payne, son of former Sergeant Catherine Payne with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.
I read with amusement the editorial comment in the local printed newspaper; but, I have no idea who wrote it. Plausible deniability, you know. I can just see Jim Sutton, Kathy Nelson and Delinda Fogle, sitting in a circle in a dark corner of what used to be the press room, pointing a finger at each other.

The St. Augustine Tea Party does not endorse political candidates. However, they do have a list of candidates with whom they disagree, find problematic, or whose goals are not in the best interests of St. Johns County voters, thus, they are on the Tea Party’s NOT TO VOTE FOR list.
The Special Primary Election for State Representative in House District 17 will likely decide the outcome of the race since the winner faces a candidate with no party affiliation and a write-in candidate whose name will not even appear on the ballot.
