St Johns County Commission meeting
The regular meeting of the St Johns County Board of Commissioners was held Tuesday in the County Auditorium in the St Johns County Administration Palace located at 500 San Sebastian View in St Augustine.
Wild and Doten return to Arts-Culture-Heritage Funding Panel
During business to come before the St Johns County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, were two appointments to the Arts-Culture-Heritage Funding Panel — re-appointed for a one-year term scheduled to expire May 21st, 2014 were Trudy Wild, Vice President of External Grants & Research for United Arts of Central Florida in Longwood, and, Eric S. Doten, CEO of Doten and Associates in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Sikes-Kline and Eubanks return to Cultural Resource Review Board
During business to come before the St Johns County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, were two appointments to the Cultural Resource Review Board — re-appointed for a four-year term scheduled to expire May 21, 2017 were St Augustine City Commissioner Nancy Sikes-Kline and community activist Gerald Eubanks.

Demonstrators at local IRS office protest abusive audits
Several Historic City News readers joined a crowd of a hundred or more citizens at 400 West Bay Street in downtown Jacksonville yesterday to show outrage over the revelation that the Internal Revenue Service was used to harass and abuse US citizens who are Tea Party members and members of other conservative Patriot groups.
