The Federal Emergency Management Agency and other organizations will participate in a town hall meeting on Wednesday, December 7th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Willie Galimore Center located at 399 Riberia Street, according to an announcement received by Historic City News today.

Jason L. Unger, Chairman of the Supreme Court Judicial Nominating Commission, reported to Historic City News this morning that the Commission recommended the following candidates to Governor Rick Scott for appointment to the Florida Supreme Court.
The Florida Highway Patrol informed local Historic City News reporters that they are actively recruiting across the state and, tonight in Northeast Florida, they will host a career fair for individuals interested in pursuing a career as a state trooper.
The Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission reported to Historic City News that they have notified the state Supreme Court of five counts of misconduct against 7th Judicial Circuit Judge Scott DuPont. The 7th Judicial Circuit serves Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns and Volusia counties.
