Grand Jury returns indictments in April double homicide

St Johns County State Attorney R. J. Larizza reported to Historic City News in St Augustine that Johnny Lawrence Williams, Jr. has been indicted by the St Johns County Grand Jury with eleven felony counts stemming from the April 5th shooting deaths of Jamie Antoinette Wilson and Keiwuan Murray.
One child thrown from vehicle, two others injured
At about 3:15 p.m. this afternoon, the Florida Highway Patrol reported to Historic City News that three vehicles were heading southbound on Interstate 95 in close proximity to each other, when one driver lost control of their vehicle resulting in a three-vehicle crash that sent three passengers to a nearby hospital emergency room.

Historic City News readers have observed that The month of April was a very bad month for violent crime in the City of St Augustine and surrounding areas; however, Police Chief Loran Lueders addressed the City Commission at their regular meeting last night to provide his assessment of what he described as “anomalies”.
No students injured in afternoon bus collision
This afternoon at about 3:22 p.m., Historic City News was informed by the Florida Highway Patrol that twenty-four (24) St Johns County students were involved in a collision while onboard their school bus.
Police looking for answers in Spring Street shooting
Just after 8:30 p.m. last night, Historic City News has learned that St Augustine Police patrolmen were dispatched to a reported gunshot in the area of Spring Street off Masters Drive. This afternoon the details of that encounter have been obtained.
$50,000 reward offered in child abduction case
Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Federal Bureau of Investigation announced to Historic City News today a combined reward of $50,000 for information leading to identification, arrest, and conviction of the persons responsible for the abduction of 7-year-old Bryan Williamson of Madison, Florida.
