Fire bomb thrown through window of city commissioner’s residence
At about 11:00 p.m. last night, the occupied residence of City Commissioner Nancy Sikes-Kline was fire-bombed according to a report received by Historic City News today. Nancy and Roger Sikes-Kline, their son and four of his friends were inside the home.





Northeast Florida Regional Airport superintendent Kevin Harvey reported to Historic City News that the engine of a flight school airplane caught fire while the aircraft was on the runway tonight at about 8:15 p.m.


This week, Historic City News welcomes eighteen new firefighters and certified Emergency Medical Technicians to the ranks of the St Johns County Fire Rescue.
Public Information Officer Jeremy Robshaw reported to Historic City News that on Thursday, firefighters trained in large animal rescue techniques successfully freed a horse that had become stuck in a muddy ditch next to a set of Florida East Coast Railway tracks.
Historic City News has received word that two of the three ethics charges against Flagler County Sheriff James Manfre have been upheld by the Administrative Law Judge hearing the matter.
