St Augustine and St Johns County firefighters responded before 6:00 a.m. this morning to a trailer park on Colee Street in St Augustine; the scene of a fully involved mobile home fire.

At approximately 5:00 p.m. yesterday evening, St John County Fire-Rescue Lieutenant Jeremy Robshaw reported to Historic City News that emergency personnel were responding to a call for help from a vessel in distress near the St Augustine inlet.

Investigators are telling Historic City News that in order to avoid an appointment with her probation officer, a local woman concocted a detailed, horrific story that sent deputies on a wild goose chase in search of an assailant they now believe never existed.

St Johns County sheriff’s deputies are searching for the man who committed a snatch-and-grab robbery early Sunday evening at Movado in the St Augustine Premium Outlets, according to an alert received by Historic City News this afternoon.

Dr. Predrag Bulic, Chief of the 23rd District Medical Examiner’s Office, reported his findings in this morning’s autopsy of Tonya and Timothy West; Historic City News has learned that the deaths were the apparent result of a murder-suicide.
