A nearly 6′ tall, 300 pound man, almost 70 years-old, with a large, stocky build, sitting on the tailgate of his pickup truck, selling fresh seafood alongside US-1 in Bunnell, wouldn’t seem out of the ordinary to most folks; but to undercover deputies, Bob Tibbs was not “ordinary”.

Dan Davis, City Clerk for the City of Bunnell, reported to Historic City News that a joint child pornography investigation by the Bunnell Police Department, Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and the office of the State Attorney for the 7th Judicial Circuit, has resulted in the arrest of a public school employee.

Lt Jeremy Robshaw, Public Information Officer for St Johns County Fire Rescue, is asking Historic City News readers in the St Augustine area to delay any outdoor burning until drought conditions improve.

A 40 year-old man has been located and arrested in connection with a recent robbery of an elderly Clay County man that occurred on April 14th at the Cracker Barrel located at 2441 SR-16, according to information received by Historic City News in St Augustine.

Since about 8:00 a.m. this morning, Historic City News has received word that St Johns County Fire Rescue has been on the scene with members of the Sheriff’s Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement Team; the second day of responses to highly combustible meth labs for county agencies.

Lt Jeremy Robshaw reported to Historic City News that his office has recently been notified that telephone solicitors have been calling residents and businesses requesting donations to benefit St Johns County Fire Rescue.

When the emergency call came in shortly before 10:00 p.m. last night, responding fire rescue units were prepared for casualties from a car crash into an occupied home, but were pleased to report only minor injuries sustained to the driver and occupants.

Just after 10:30 p.m. last night, local Historic City News reporters were informed that the husband of 44 year-old Stephanie Theresa Singleton-Gilliam was arrested in St Augustine and booked in the St Johns County Detention Facility, charged with her murder.
