The St Johns County crime desk at Historic City News in St Augustine was notified that the Bank of America located at 4850 Belle Terre Parkway in Palm Coast was robbed this morning and Sheriff Don Fleming is asking if you can help identify the robber.

A law enforcement veteran with over twenty-five years of training and experience in all aspects of the job will assist the City of St Augustine in the role of interim Chief of Police according to an announcement made this morning by St Johns County Sheriff David B. Shoar.

Historic City News has learned that the City of St Augustine Beach has called a special meeting to address a complaint filed by 10 of the 14 St Augustine Beach Police Department officers against the police chief; 57 year-old Richard L. Hedges.

St Johns County Sheriff’s Sergeant Charles E. Mulligan reported to Historic City News that a 21 year-old St Augustine woman was killed last night when she was partially ejected and pinned under her vehicle in a single-car crash on Green Acres Road.
