In search of the “secret” Beach Police memo
After Historic City News published an article detailing the excessive secrecy surrounding an e-mail from Michelle Price to several officers who complained about the St Augustine Beach police chief, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement confirmed late yesterday that those officers’ access to crime information computers has been suspended.



Just after 4:30 yesterday afternoon, a spokesperson for the Florida Highway Patrol Troop G reported to Historic City News in St Augustine that seatbelts saved a 68 year-old woman from serious injury and may have spared her life in a collision that occurred on I-95 in St Johns County.
Deputy Vinnie Russo has developed a composite sketch of the suspect in Saturday evening’s apparent police impersonation; where a female driver and her two small children were pulled over in the area of SR-207 and Hilltop Road, presumably because she was “speeding”.
According to a published news article entitled “Beach chief’s accusers lose use of crime computers”, Michelle Price, an administrative assistant for the St Augustine Beach Police Department, is said to have sent, by e-mail, an unsigned memo notifying those officers who complained about the police administration that their computer access had been suspended.
Merrill Musikar, KG4 IDD, President of the Flagler Emergency Communications Association in Palm Coast, announced that a nationwide communications platform would be established to simulate emergency conditions for 24-hours; beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 23 at the Flagler Beach Fire Department headquarters.
Historic City News has learned that a 28 year-old Palm Coast man was taken into protective custody after Volusia Support Services reported to Flagler County deputies that he abused, tortured and killed several kittens that belonged to roommates in the home where he was living.
Saturday evening, a female driver reported that a man, dressed in a black uniform with silver-outlined shield patches on his shoulders, stopped the vehicle that she was driving in the area of SR-207 and Hilltop Road; presumably, because she was “speeding”.
