Three face felony charges for abuse of gopher tortoises
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Public Information Coordinator Joy Hill reported to Historic City News in St Augustine that two adults and a juvenile are facing prison time and fines after for killing a state-designated “threatened species” and for felony cruelty to animals.



At around 4:15 am this morning, Trooper Dennis Shorter reported to Historic City News in St Augustine that a single-vehicle collision occurred along International Golf Parkway; when a Ponte Vedra Beach man, operating his motorcycle, failed to negotiate a sharp curve.

Historic City News was notified by Flagler County Sheriff’s representative Debra Johnson that shots were fired at a Palm Coast man last night; who, the resident says, attempted run him over with the car he used to escape from the scene.
Beginning Monday, the vertical clearance under the SR-312 Bridge in St Augustine over the Matanzas River will be reduced by four feet, the Florida Department of Transportation announced to Historic City News.
