Dead body discovered behind gas station

This afternoon, Historic City News reporters learned that the body of a man, whose name is not being released until his family can be notified, was discovered behind a gas station in the 2600 block of SR-207.

Public Information Officer Debra Johnson told local St. Johns County reporters with Historic City News that deputies in Flagler County concluded a four-month investigation into the unlawful trafficking of prescription drugs early this morning.

Homicide ruled Murder-Suicide after autopsy

St. Johns County Sheriff’s spokesman Kevin Kelshaw informed Historic City News local reporters that the elderly couple found dead at their Coquina Crossing residence last evening, died as a result of a murder-suicide; according to the autopsy report from the District Medical Examiner.

Historic City News has learned that a New Smyrna Beach man was arrested shortly before midnight Monday after Flagler County Sheriff’s deputies found him inside the yard of an automotive repair shop in South Flagler County.

Arrest made at Barcelona Avenue meth lab

Historic City News crime reporters have been informed by St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Kevin Kelshaw that a 36 year-old St. Johns County woman has been arrested for the second time in less than five months yesterday afternoon on drug charges relating to operating a methamphetamine lab on Barcelona Avenue.

Local St. Augustine reporters at Historic City News have learned that sometime between Thursday, September 2nd around 5:00 p.m. and Monday, September 6th at 11:11 p.m., the residence located at 45 Palmetto Avenue was burglarized.
