Historic City News learned that a 21-year-old Flagler County man was arrested on several felony charges yesterday following incidents at two Outlet Mall Boulevard businesses.

Sheriff’s Commander Chuck Mulligan reported to Historic City News this hour that 16-year-old Marcus Anthony Hatch, taken from a residence in Ponte Vedra Beach overnight, has been located in Jacksonville, and is in good health.

Historic City News has learned that a suspect in an area burglary apparently left his blue PT Cruiser in “drive” at a retention pond behind the St Augustine Outlet Mall.

Florida Highway Patrol Traffic Homicide Investigator, Leonard Yuknavage, reported to Historic City News that he is trying to notify the next-of-kin of a 55-year-old St Augustine man who was killed in a three-vehicle crash on US-1 north of Abbotts Way yesterday afternoon.

The city’s inaugural effort at providing a multi-week, park-and-ride operation drew to a close last Saturday, December 31 after a very busy 13-day schedule. The cost to taxpayers to keep about 3,700 vehicles out of downtown traffic was estimated between $45,000 – $50,000, according to information provided to Historic City News today.
