Wendler lawsuit dropped

City Attorney Ron Brown notified city commissioners near the end of last night’s meeting that the lawsuit brought by developer Donna Wendler has been dismissed by mutual consent.

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Renaissance Hotel, 500 Legacy Trail, World Golf Village, at 9:00 a.m. this morning regarding a guest who had not arrived at a scheduled meeting.

Project Manager Nick Perpich in the St. Johns County Engineering Division reported to Historic City News that the traffic pattern along the West King Street construction is going to be redirected next week.

Jeremy Robshaw reported to Historic City News this afternoon that shortly before lunch, St. Johns County Fire Rescue responded to a commercial structure fire at Moultrie Apartments; 2250 Old Moultrie Rd.

Child struck by car in local trailer park

Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News that a 19-month old baby girl has been taken to a Jacksonville hospital early this evening after being struck by a vehicle.

Fred Henry Bozard, Jr. died this morning; he was a business and civic leader, soldier, mentor and shining example to everyone who knew him.
