Arrest made in home invasion robbery

Kevin Kelshaw has reported to Historic City News that a 35-year old Hastings man was arrested on a charge of home invasion robbery yesterday evening stemming from an incident that occurred earlier that morning.

Saint Augustine Historical Society Research Library Chief Librarian Jess May reported to Historic City News that the Historical Society will be celebrating Black History Month with an exhibition of Richard Twine’s photographs.

Inaugural Art in Public Spaces exhibit

The St. Johns Cultural Council has announced to Historic City News that they have entered into a partnership with the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners to present the Inaugural Art in Public Spaces exhibit which is located in the St. Johns County Administration Building.

Grants made possible through the Dr. JoAnn Crisp-Ellert Fund for Art Appreciation are available to organizations with programs that enhance art appreciation and art education in St. Augustine according to an announcement received by Historic City News this week.

Media Specialist Liz Daube reported to Historic City News that for the 10th time, “America’s 100 Best College Buys” has included Flagler College in it’s annual report of the nation’s top values in higher education.
