Public Information Officer Jeremy Robshaw reported to Historic City News that St. Johns County Fire Rescue and the City of St. Augustine Fire Department jointly responded to a residential structure fire that occurred in the 2600 block of Usina Street

The St. Augustine Sunrise Rotary has announced to Historic City News that they will be sponsoring the 14th Annual Rhythm & Ribs Festival scheduled for April 3, 4, and 5, 2009.

Communications Director Jay Humphreys with the St. Augustine Visitors and Convention Bureau has reported to Historic City News that the other half of Simon & Garfunkel will perform standards from the American songbook as well as hits such as “Bridge Over Troubled Water.” live at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, Sunday.

After-school Program teaches Healthy Habits

Betsy Clarkson, Recreation Superintendent for the St. Johns County Recreation and Parks Department has reported to Historic City News that her department has partnered with the St. Augustine Elks Lodge 829 and the St. Johns County Health Department to offer a free “Kids Fit Club” at the Hastings after-school program.

Carrie Pack, Assistant Director of Public Information & Assistant College Newspaper Adviser at Flagler College, has reported to Historic City News that the Flagler College spring Community Lecture Series, “Global Perspectives,” will continue with Victor Ostrowidzki when he presents “One Man’s Journey: WWII Occupied Poland to U.S. Political Journalism” on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
