Vistors Bureau lists weekend events

Communications Director Jay Humphreys with the St. Augustine Visitors and Convention Bureau reported to Historic City News about severa events in America’s Oldest City this weekend.

Two bodies located at rest stop

Sgt. Chuck Mulligan reported to Historic City News that the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office has responded to the north bound rest area on I-95, near S.R. 206 following the discovery of two deceased individuals, one male and one female, in a Black 4 door Volkswagen.

Residential fire with injuries

St. Johns County Fire Rescue (SJCFR) reported to Historic City News that they responded to a residential structure fire in the 4700 block of Avenue D at approximately 11:10pm Wednesday.

All offices of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners will be closed on Monday, January 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

Clark Vitulli announced to Historic City News that Harley-Davidson of St. Augustine has just opened a new retail location in the middle of St. Augustine’s downtown historic district at 118 St. George Street.

A St. Augustine man is one of 22 people arrested today and charged with various counts of passport-visa fraud.

Kathleen Floryan, REALTOR with Prudential Network Realty, reported to Historic City News that this Sunday, January 18th from noon until 6:00 p.m. she will be hosting an open house to help re-stock the shelves for St Francis House.
