Night out for parents and holiday zoo camp for kids

Sales and Marketing Manager Molly Ebersold informed local Historic City News reporters that in November, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park will offer two great events for kids.

Homeowners evacuated in Friday house fire

Jeremy Robshaw, Public Information Officer with St. Johns County Fire Rescue, informed Historic City News local reporters that emergency personnel responded to a residential structure fire in the 2100 block of Forest Hollow Way early today.

Middle school gun threat unfounded

Public Information Officer Debra Johnson told local St. Johns County reporters with Historic City News that deputies in Flagler County responded to Indian Trails Middle School to investigate a student gun threat.

Although October 31st marks the traditional end of sea turtle nesting season, St. Johns County has informed Historic City News that four turtle nests remain on our beaches that have not yet hatched.

Expect your tax bill — beginning Monday

St. Johns County Tax Collector Dennis W. Hollingsworth, CFC, tells Historic City News that property owners can expect to receive a tax bill for their share of $349,312,788.38 from the 2010 tax roll beginning Monday, November 1st.
