St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Homicide Detectives reported to Historic City News that they have arrested a 42-year old Duval County man this afternoon in connection with an attempted robbery early Friday morning.
President Renee Stambaugh reported to Historic City News that the local Sea Oats chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society will meet at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th at the St. Augustine Beach City Hall.
Randy Brunson will be on hand reporting for Historic City News this evening, beginning at 6:00 p.m., when the St. Augustine Yacht Club presents the 30th Annual Regatta of Lights.
Between five and ten children from selected local kindergarten and first grade schools are being promised a little merrier Christmas this year if a certain Santa Claus is successful in reaching local business people willing to contribute gifts or gift certificates to his cause.
Historic City News reporters will be following several property issues involving the City of St. Augustine and comments by City Attorney Ron Brown when the City Commission convenes their regularly scheduled meeting Monday, December 13, 2010, at 5:00 p.m. in the Alcazar Room at City Hall.
Among the nine items included in the consent agenda for the regular meeting of the St. Augustine City Commission Monday night, will be consideration and authorization of funding to return the lion statues to their proper home.
