Road closure and city water outage

Due to construction work, the intersection of South and Blanco Streets and Oneida and South Streets will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, July 13th according to an announcement received by Historic City News yesterday afternoon.

$202,500.00 bond required for Santarelli

Diane Katz Santarelli who resides at 268 N BARTRAM TRAIL was arrested today on (4) liquor possession counts, (1) count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and (2) counts of negligent manslaughter according to information distributed to Historic City News.

Decision may come Monday on Fish Island

A proposed settlement of the contentious plan for a dock on the Matanzas River south of SR 312 was tabled by the commission last month, to give commissioners an opportunity to discuss with attorneys a lawsuit filed by the developer of Fish Island.

Haynes arrested in sexual battery case

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office reported to Historic City News that deputies responded to a reported Sexual Battery incident late Thursday afternoon that allegedly occurred Wednesday evening.

Arrest made in capital sexual battery case

Historic City News has learned that a 51-year old former St. Johns County resident was arrested on charges of capital sexual battery and lewd and lascivious behavior today stemming from incidents that occurred over a year ago.

Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News that one St. Johns County teenager was arrested and another is being sought in connection with an incident that occurred Monday afternoon in West Augustine.
