Candidates for Clerk of Court speak to Republican Club



Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Flagler College, Dr. Lori Lee, has invited all Historic City News readers to attend a free program being presented at the Southeast Branch Library, offering insight into issues of identity and race in the 1930’s.

It was a sad week in Tallahassee for the freedom of everyday citizens. The Senate Government Oversight and Accountability committee passed SB-1220 which would give the discretion to award attorney’s fees in actions brought by citizens to enforce the state’s public records laws to judges, rather than the statutory requirement that currently exists.

Two weeks ago I returned to visit St. Augustine. My husband and I lived in the Old Town neighborhood south of the Plaza until moving in 2012.
Debbie Delgado reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
