Dedication ceremony Friday

Members of the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office and the family of late Deputy Josh Blyler will meet Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. to dedicate a portion of C.R. 210 (Ponte Vedra) in Deputy Blyler’s memory. The dedication ceremony will be held at the Compass Bank parking lot; C.R. 210 and A1A North.

Be cautious when paying contractors

A 33 year old former employee of a DirecTV contractor collected over $500.00 for two DirecTV service calls that should have been free; one from an 86 year old Theodore Street resident and another from a Camden Cay Drive resident, according to a report filed yesterday morning with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.
