Historic City News reporters are disappointed to report that when St Johns County Commissioner Bill McClure pled his case for at least two other commissioners to join him in giving direction to the county administrator, Michael Wanchick, to better provide for transportation roadway maintenance and repaving; his concerns fell on deaf ears.

The St. Johns Democratic Party reported to Historic City News that invitations have been extended for an open meet-and-greet forum for candidates in the Primary and General Elections whose contests are non-partisan; such as Circuit Court Judge, Mosquito Control Board, Airport Authority, and City Commission.

The St. Johns County Board of County Commission Meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays each month commencing at 9:00 am in the St. Johns County Auditorium located at 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, FL. The Board reserves the right to cancel and or change the meeting schedule as needed. Most Public Hearings for the County Commission will be advertised for 9:00 a.m. It will be left to the discretion of the BCC Chair as to the most appropriate time to break for the noon recess.
