Historic City News readers are patriotically invited to attend a special open meeting of the St Augustine Tea Party on Tuesday, October 23rd beginning at 6:30 p.m., at the Village Inn located at 900 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine.

Dr. Joseph G. Joyner announced to Historic City News that Dr. Beverly Copeland Carmichael will retire from Flagler College effective October 26, 2018. Dr. Carmichael is a graduate of the first class to attend Flagler College in 1972.

Historic City News was notified by Florida Department of Transportation Public Information Officer, Allen Nelson, that traffic will be impacted at the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations where roadwork is being conducted.

This Sunday, October 21 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Historic City News readers are invited to participate in a special Howl-o-ween Walk for their pets and the whole family. The outdoor activities will take place at Treaty Park, located at 1595 Wildwood Drive in St Augustine.
