Beach ramps and pier closed
St. Johns County Emergency Operations Center has announced to Historic City News that as of 1:00 p.m. today, all beach access ramps are officially closed.

Editorial: City budget decisions are familiar
They talked so much yesterday that the city staffers and commissioners gave out of steam and called a break in the budget workshop until 10:00 this morning; when we will hear more plans from City Manager John Regan and Director of Finance Mark Litzinger about how to reduce the cost of government in St. Augustine.

City holds budget workshop meeting
The City of St. Augustine reported to Historic City News that they will continue the process of finalizing and adopting the budget for the coming fiscal year and that every opportunity is being made to inform and invite the public into this important annual activity.

City may spend $300K to renovate VIC
St. Augustine Heritage Tourism Director Dana Ste. Claire outlined for Historic City News reporters, commissioners and an audience of about 40 attending a 450th Workshop yesterday, his recommendation for creating modular and mobile exhibit units inside the Visitor Information Center.
