When all else is closed – go to the movies

As Historic City News reporters checked activity around town yesterday, there was at least one full parking lot in town — EPIC Theatres of St. Augustine was packed from the entrance almost to SR-207, with some early matinee screenings sold-out.

Quiet Christmas Saturday around town

Most of St. Augustine’s stores and restaurants were closed yesterday in celebration of Christmas; traffic was generally light, parking lots were largely empty, only one carriage on the bayfront, shoe-leather was the mode of transportation for most of those out sightseeing.
