Historic City News received the following notification this afternoon from Kevin Kelshaw, SJSO Media Relations Officer.
In accordance with Florida State Statute 775.21, this news release will serve as public notification that the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office has been given information that a person judged to be a sexual predator is now residing within St. Johns County.

Sacha Martin has reported to Historic City News the following results from the 28th Annual Regatta of Lights.
“Alternative”, a 22 foot power boat owned by George Lomax, was judged “Best Overall”.

SJCFR Public Education and Information Officer Jeremy Robshaw reported to Historic City News this afternoon that St. Johns County Fire Rescue (SJCFR) and the St. Johns County Sheriffs Office (SJCSO) responded to a reported injury on board a commercial fishing vessel at approximately 8:45 a.m. today.

On the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the Board of County Commissioners, Historic City News has learned of a public hearing to be held on a proposed ordinance implementing provisions for the operation of golf carts on county roads and county right of ways advanced at the request of The PARC Group.
Historic City News has learned that the County Commission intends to consider in it’s meeting on Tuesday, January 6th, the approval of a Voluntary Separation Incentive program for qualifying county employees in an effort to save millions of dollars each year.
