St. Augustine Archaeological Association, in conjunction with the Florida Public Archaeological Network has announced to Historic City News the resumption of their Lecture Series.
FPL Business Care Center has provided Historic City News an important storm update and has announced that FPL crews are rapidly restoring areas affected by Tropical Storm Fay.
Historic City News has been informed that at least one city meeting has been cancelled so far because of the storm. As Tropical Storm Fay continues to move north, the City of St. Augustine urges residents and business owners to make all necessary preparations for the “just in case†scenario.
The City of St. Augustine has reported to Historic City News that this week’s edition of Concerts in the Plaza for Thursday, August 21st has been cancelled due to the anticipated inclement weather from Tropical Storm Fay.
In a video endorsement received by Historic City News this morning, Sheriff David Shoar and retiring County Commissioner Jim Bryant made public endorsements of county commissioner candidate Randy Brunson who is running in a three-way race against Gary McMahon and Ken Bryan for election for the District 5 seat.
