Police seek identity of man shopping with stolen card
Last month, St Augustine Police investigated the fraudulent use of a stolen credit card at the St Augustine Walmart store, according to an announcement just received by Historic City News.

Last month, St Augustine Police investigated the fraudulent use of a stolen credit card at the St Augustine Walmart store, according to an announcement just received by Historic City News.
Late Sunday, before midnight, Historic City News learned that St Augustine Police officers were dispatched to the St Augustine Amphitheatre in response to a citizen complaint of a suspicious person in the area.
An employee of the Oasis Boatyard was transported to Flagler Hospital, and later flown to a Jacksonville hospital, to receive medical attention for a non-life-threatening injury; sustained in what police are calling an “accidental shooting”.
After 27 years serving in the trenches, literally, City Archeologist Carl Halbirt will retire from his position at the end of September. Historic City News was informed that upon his departure, Halbirt will turn over his trowel to Andrea White.
The St. Augustine Fire Department responded to a residential house fire located at the corner of King Street and Riberia Street at about 8:00 a.m. this morning.
The St. Augustine Police Department reported to Historic City News that officers responded to 237 Riberia Street to find that a construction trailer had being broken into.
