Lions Club supports local college scholarship fund
Investing in Kids Director Marcia Poston announced to Historic City News reporters that the local support organization has received a $4,000 donation from the St Augustine Lions Club to be used to fund its student scholarship program, “Take Stock in Children”.
Sales tax increase to be heard by commissioners
St Johns County Commission Chair, Rachael Bennett, reported to Historic City News this morning that the results of the private telephone survey regarding the collection of an additional one-cent sales tax will come before the commission on May 19, 2015.
