Days in Old Spain Fiesta
September is a popular time for Historic City News readers to celebrate St. Augustine’s rich Spanish Heritage and this year a special “Days in Old Spain Fiesta” is planned with performing artists, authentic Colonial Spanish reenactments, contests, dancing and heritage games.



Dr. Robert B. Hayling, a retired First Lieutenant in the United States Air Force, former resident, local dentist, and leader of the 1960’s Civil Rights Movement in St. Augustine was awarded one of the City’s highest honors: the de Aviles Award.
Historic City News readers and their school-aged children are invited to the free Back2School Beach fest on Saturday, August 20th on St. Augustine Beach and at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.
St. Johns County Energy Efficiency Coordinator Lowry Shuler extended an invitation to all Historic City News readers to attend a special free workshop to learn more about the growing field of wind energy.
