Road repairs and maintenance planned



The new fire station at Palencia was put to the test this morning when a St. Johns County deputy reported a residential structure fire in the 6500 block of US-1 North, according to a report received by Historic City News this morning.
Historic City News reporters were notified today that Governor Rick Scott has appointment Assistant St. Augustine City Attorney Carlos E. Mendoza to the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court.
Historic City News local reporters have learned that Fire Station 15 located in north central St. Johns County has come on-line; is fully staffed and operational on a full-time basis, twenty four hours – seven days a week.
Regular Historic City News contributor, Jeffrey Edel who is a U. S. Park Ranger and the Historic Weapons Supervisor at the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, stands his post in full uniform; just like the Spanish soldiers who guarded the fort hundreds of years ago.
The St. Augustine Amphitheatre tells Historic City News local reporters that they could not operate without the help of their outstanding volunteers, and tonight’s concert will be proof of that.
The St. Augustine Tea Party reported to Historic City News that they now have a weekly radio show.
