In an editorial that I read in the Gainesville Sun yesterday, the paper asked the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners some tough questions. Questions that – given our current budget situation – should be asked locally.
Sometimes I am reminded of the tendency of people to cling to ideas that are simply not true; like the idea that the “majority rules” when voting. This is one of those times.
In an effort to be politically correct, I’ll use the new terminology “Insurance Reform” instead of “The Healthcare Reform Debate”.
